The overall purpose of The Women of Destiny is to encourage women and young girls, to get in touch with their innate ability to become the best they can be, overcome all obstacles and be empowered to have an impact on the community in which they live and beyond. Set up 5 year ago, we provide Prison, Immigration, Welfare, Homelessness and Bereavement support within the church and our local community.

The Ebony Business Network refers more to the business and innovation aspect of the women’s ministry. Twice a year we organise business networks to encourage like minded women with business ideas or unique services to come together to show case their products, ideas and vision. As a result the Ebony Business Network has birthed a number of successful businesses. Our guest speakers for the events are mainly entrepreneurs who own their businesses either by starting and growing it themselves or by acquiring another business. This gives the added advantage to our women of getting key information on best practice based on speakers' experiences to motivate and encourage women to act on their vision, dreams, aspiration, ideas etc. To change our attitude from I can't to yes I can.

The networking aspect has also proved to be very useful linking a considerable number of businesses together over the years. We have organised training to benefit our women like eBay training provided by a successful eBay trader and property acquisition training provided by a property owner/developer, just to mention a few.
